Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gurukul Typing Skill ("the Service"), operated by Four Step Process ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Gurukul Typing Skill is a typing practice and learning platform designed to help users improve their typing skills, particularly for government examination preparation. The Service includes:

  • Typing lessons and exercises
  • Speed tests and assessments
  • Progress tracking and analytics
  • Multiple keyboard layout support (English QWERTY, Hindi Krutidev)
  • Desktop application with offline capabilities
  • Web-based practice platform

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

3.2 Account Restrictions

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free and Paid Plans

The Service offers both free and paid subscription plans. Free plans include limited access to lessons and features. Paid plans unlock additional content and capabilities.

4.2 Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
  • Provide valid payment information
  • Authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring subscriptions

4.3 Device Binding

Only 1 device can be active at a time. A maximum of 2 devices are allowed per calendar year (January 1 to December 31). Device changes require admin approval via support ticket. The device count resets at the beginning of each calendar year.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to bypass device binding restrictions
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the software
  • Distribute or share paid content without authorization
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, icons, and audio, are the exclusive property of Four Step Process and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Offline Access

The desktop application provides offline access to the Service. Offline access is limited to:

  • Free users: 3 days
  • Paid users: 7 days (up to 60 days for annual subscribers)

After the offline period expires, you must connect to the internet to verify your subscription and sync your progress.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect your paid subscription.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will be revoked
  • You will lose access to all purchased content
  • We may delete your account data after a reasonable period

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
